Getting Layered – Layers never out of style!
Layers seem to be one of those hair do’s that never stop being in style, from their versatility to their ability to frame the face, to their capability in adapting to anyone’s frame, and the ease with which they go to any season. This hair trend never seems to loose it’s movement, for some of the reasons I have mentioned and 100 more.
Experts in hair have the following to say: “Layers remove weight, which helps add movement and texture to the hair”. “People with damaged hair can benefit greatly from this cut because layering can be used to remove dry or split ends without taking off to much of the length.”
So we’ve got a few professionals pointing out the benefits of such a style, but it is also worth noting the ease of maintaining it; the cut itself sets your hair in such a way that it constantly looks styilized, all you have to do is continue to look after your hair (regular washing, brushing and all those of course) and your hair will continue to fall softly and beautifully.
And this style is not limited to only those with straight hair here, if you are of the curl persuasion then you can try layers too. In order to look after the style all you have to do is blow-dry your hair once you have washed it, brush through with a large round brush and use a volumizing shampoo and conditioner (this is great for the roots and keeps them from looking heavy or greasy), two great products for this are the Paul Mitchell Spring Loaded Detangling Shampoo and The Rinse Conditioner, also of the Paul Mitchell range.
Layering your hair allows you to make a notable change to your hair without having to take off a drastic amount of length, or change the colour or completely change the style. It is an easy favourite among celebrities, runway models, and even everyday people such as you and I, it is a style well worth trying if you have never done so before, believe me you will feel and look like a totally new person.
